These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of The Insight Express, accessible at theinsightexpress.com (the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Service Description

The Insight Express is a daily UPSC newspaper analysis platform providing structured educational content derived from daily newspaper articles — organized by GS paper, enriched with constitutional anchors, historical context, model answers, and practice questions.

The Platform is not a coaching institute or educational institution. It does not offer any formal certification, qualification, or guarantee of examination results. All content is for personal educational reference only.

2. User Accounts

Access to the Platform requires registration through our authentication provider, Clerk. By registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain one account per individual. Multiple accounts for the same person are not permitted.
• Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with others.
• Immediately notify us at admin@theinsightexpress.com of any unauthorised use of your account.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Subscription Tiers and Billing

The Platform offers two subscription tiers: Free and Basic. Pricing for the Basic tier will be displayed on the Pricing page prior to activation of billing

Free Trial: All new users receive 10 days of free access from the date of registration. No payment information is required during the trial period.

Paid Subscriptions: Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Razorpay, a third-party payment processor. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled by you prior to renewal.

Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify subscription prices at any time. We will notify you via email at least 14 days before any price change takes effect for existing subscribers.

4. Content Ownership and Intellectual Property

All content published on the Platform — including but not limited to daily editions, structured analyses, constitutional anchors, model answers, MCQs, keyword banks, and the Ethics Concept Ledger — is the original intellectual property of The Insight Express and is protected by Indian copyright law.

Newspaper articles analysed by the Platform are the property of their respective publishers. Our analysis, structured output, and editorial commentary are our original work.

You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, sell, or create derivative works from any content on the Platform without our prior written permission. Personal, non-commercial study use is permitted subject to the restrictions in Section 5.

5. Copy Protection and Acceptable Use

The Platform implements technical copy protection measures including CSS user-select restrictions, JavaScript clipboard interception, and print protection. You acknowledge and agree that:

• Personal study only: All content is licensed for your personal UPSC/competitive exam preparation. You may not redistribute, resell, or share content with others — including via screenshots, screen recordings, or any other means.
• No scraping: Automated access, scraping, crawling, or data extraction of Platform content is strictly prohibited.
• No circumvention: Attempting to bypass or disable copy protection measures is prohibited and constitutes a material breach of these Terms.
• Watermarked copies: Premium users who have copy access enabled receive watermarked clipboard content attributing content to their account. This serves as a traceability mechanism, not a licence to distribute.

6. Account Termination

By you: You may cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time via Account Settings or by emailing admin@theinsightexpress.com. Upon deletion, your data will be removed from our systems within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations.

By us: We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, attempt to circumvent copy protection, share login credentials, or engage in any conduct that we determine to be harmful to the Platform, other users, or third parties.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• All content on the Platform is for educational reference only. It does not constitute coaching, legal advice, or a guarantee of examination results.
• The Insight Express shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform or its content.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content. Analysis is based on our editorial interpretation of source articles and may not reflect the views of UPSC or any examination authority.
• Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

8. Use of Artificial Intelligence

Content on the Platform is generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence (AI) tools and large language models. While all AI-generated output is reviewed and curated by us, AI-assisted content may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or errors. You acknowledge that AI-generated content is not a substitute for your own reading, judgement, or verification of source material. We do not guarantee the factual accuracy of any AI-assisted output.

9. Disclaimer

The Platform and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Platform at any time without notice.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
